Completed an undergraduate degree in Archaeology and Anthropology at Durham University in 2001 before enrolling on the MSc Control of Infectious Diseases at LSHTM. Completed her MSc here in September 2002 before officially starting work in The Hygiene Centre, part of the Environmental Health Group in November. Has worked overseas in Uganda, Syria and most recently South Africa.
