The Hygiene Centre is part of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), a world renowned academic institution and leader in the field of Public Health research.

The Hygiene Centre's work is focused primarily on producing new knowledge to effect large-scale improvements in hygiene behaviour including water and sanitation.
